Memory and HIV project team

This website was developed in conjunction with the Sussex Beacon. We used participatory methods to build and adapt this website based on multiple rounds of feedback from individuals attending the Sussex Beacon who have HIV and thinking and memory issues.

“It doesn’t look like a clinical website, it’s not over technical and speaks to the common person, it welcomes you in”
Jo, Person living with HIV

“Very useful – it’s broad and seems to cover everything. It’s straightforward to find your way round”
Tim, person living with HIV

“If you need support there are lots of links to different organisations which can help”
Naz, person living with HIV

“I like the brain gym, where you can potentially improve – it can feel quite worrying but reading that you can improve your memory gives me reassurance”
Nicki, Community Services Team
